I. Information Collection General Privacy Policy

Embassy Student Ministries, a ministry of The Embassy of the Kingdom of God - 416 Taunton Rd. W Oshawa ON, Canada, (“Embassy”) respects the privacy of users to it’s website EmbassyOnline.ca.

Embassy does not collect any personally identifiable information through EmbassyOnline.ca unless it is given voluntarily. All personally identifiable information including, but not limited to, email addresses, names and phone numbers are given by the user to Embassy and this information is not given or sold to any third parties but is kept by Embassy for Embassy purposes only (i.e. correspondence, mailing lists, newsletters, promotions, interactive content, attendance databases, etc.). If you have voluntarily submitted personal information to Embassy and would like to review it, have it updated or have it deleted, please send a request in writing to the address listed below in “Contact Embassy”. If you would like to update your information for the Embassy Mailing List, please do so with the link provided when you first signed up on the mailing list.

Embassy does collect some non-personal user information such as, but not limited to, the operating system and the screen resolution of a user in order to optimize future website visits by that user. With this same intent in mind, EmbassyOnline.ca also may also use cookies to save user preferences and passwords. All non-personal user information that is collected is generally kept by Embassy for Embassy purposes only but may sometimes be provided to third parties for research, marketing or other use.

II. Privacy Policy Specific to Children Under the Age of 13

No personal information (including name, mailing address, telephone number and email address) will be collected from any user under the age of 13 without first obtaining verifiable consent from the parent or legal guardian of such child. Accordingly, no information should be submitted to or posted at this site by visitors under the age of 13 without the consent of their parent or legal guardian. Parents or legal guardians may provide Embassy consent to collect such information by the address listed below in “Contact Embassy”.

If your child (under the age of 13) has voluntarily submitted personal information to Embassy and you, the parent/legal guardian, would like to review it, have it updated or have it deleted, please send a request in writing to the address listed below in “Contact Embassy”.

III. Links to Other Websites

EmbassyOnline.ca has links to other websites. Embassy is not responsible for the privacy policies and practices of these websites. Although Embassy works with every effort not to link to or promote any inappropriate content that might be on a linked site, ultimately Embassy is not responsible for the content of any other website.

IV. User Acceptance of Privacy Policy

By using EmbassyOnline.ca, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this policy, please do not use this site. Embassy reserves the right, at their discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this policy at any time. If and when changes in this policy occur, your continued use of EmbassyOnline.ca will mean that you accept those changes.

V. Terms of Submission

By submitting your testimony, photos or media of any type, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  
  • Your testimony, photos or media of any type ("Submission") must be original, truthful and must not infringe upon any rights of any third party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, and rights of privacy and publicity.

  • You must have the permission of all persons appearing in your Submission for you to submit your Submission for use by Embassy.

  • By submitting your Submission you grant Embassy  a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, unrestricted, irrevocable and fully sublicensable right and license (but not the obligation) to consider, disclose, broadcast, use, re-use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, re-distribute, publicly perform and/or display your Submission (in whole or in part or as modified in Embassy Student Ministry’s sole discretion), and the images and likenesses that appear in your Submission (in whole or in part), and/or incorporate all or part of your Submission for use in all media now known or hereafter devised, including without limitation on the internet, home video and cell phone services.

  • You will not receive any compensation of any kind for your Submission.

  • Your entry will not be returned or held "in confidence."

  • This Agreement supercedes any and all agreements or communications of any kind between you and Embassy  relating to your Submission; it cannot be modified or waived except in writing and unless properly signed.

  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of Canada without regard to choice of law rules.
